Etienne Vilotte for the Poterie de Ciboure: “Small vase with roosters”, 9 X 7.3 cm. From the best period (1922-1945), this charming vase with black and rust enamels has a rotating decoration of two roosters facing each other, a tree on the back. Tiny one millimeter chip on a leaf of the tree and a melting on the left rooster’s legs. A superb retrospective of the factory took place at the Basque Museum in Bayonne in 2020.
