This delightful pastel by the Belgian Africanist painter Paul de Pauw shows us, in a plunging and three-quarter perspective, an adorable girl wearing a scarf in her hair, in an incredible palette of reds, oranges, golds and purple for shadows. Some interposed dirt inside the glass would advise us to re-frame that I leave to the choice of the purchaser.
