Asagi Maeda
Silver ring, gold, plexiglass.
Child fascinated by dollhouses and the stories she created around them, she now realizes boxes, apartments, metro, schools … all of which are bracelets, rings, necklaces that tell us about the lives of Tokyo. She also creates towns where time seems to have stopped.
After studying sculpture in Japan, Asagi studied jewelry in New York. His work is exhibited in Japan and the United States and was notably exhibited at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.
