Harvest table

19th century harvest table or winegrowers’table

Oak top 100 X 113 cm, height 73 open, 113 closed.
This type of tilting top table is also called a “winegrower’s table”. They were arranged in series in the outbuildings and out when during particular periods such as harvests or grape harvest, we received a lot of people as reinforcements that had to be well fed.
These tables were then deployed one after the other while waiting for these reinforcements to go to the next farm where others were waiting for them …
Nowadays, they are more used in small apartments or second homes for their small footprint.
No shipping, collection by carrier or delivery on a Pau / Biarritz axis.
Our model, in spite of small defects, is of a particular quality and of an unusual size, served moreover by a patina of a long use.
