Oil on panel 58 X 31 cm mounted in a large damaged golden frame 81 X 54 cm. Signature or monogram lower left made illegible by a paint chip. Photos are powerless to capture impasto and contrasts. My research led me to the late works of Isaac Lévitan (1860-1900). Without claiming that it is a work of the Master (I do not know if there is an expert specialist who could), I find however that it is very close to it and anyway, it is beautiful.
