Oil on canvas 38 X 46 cm, mounted in a gilded frame 49 X 56 cm. Signed lower right, not very legible: thanks to Guillaume who identified it for me! This beautiful villa in its flowery park under a blue sky is very pleasant and luminous, this precise touch indicates a Master who divided himself between animated genre scenes of pretty Spanish women or, as here, pure landscapes. Certainly painted in the South of Spain, Granada or Cadiz where he was from and professor at the Fine Arts, although exhibiting in Madrid as well as in Paris or New York, Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or telephone.
