Young girl with pearls
Attributed to Joseph Marie Vien Le Jeune
1761 – 1848
Oil on oval canvas 60 X 46 cm, mounted in an Empire frame with oval view 80 X 65 cm with worn gilding. Originally a shorter oval, the canvas was enlarged by a crescent moon at the top to fit this frame. Our lovely young lady has passed through the hands of a real restorer who has revealed all the delicacy of her skin tones and the charm of her First Empire outfit that the photos can barely convey. Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or telephone
