The singer Mayol
Daniel de Losques Thouroude
(1880-1915)
Print, Lithograph (numbering and / or editing: without), 59×20 cm (23,23 x7, 87 in), Signature
Best known for his posters (he created the famous Mistinguett), De Losques also practiced lithography. This shows us the famous singer Mayol with an inimitable attitude with tuft of red hair and bit of lily of the valley on the buttonhole. It is autographed by Mayol himself in blue pencil “to the right of the author Dresses Colibri”, probably Pierre Chapelle, who wrote the words of this song in 1908.
Few small spots but in very good condition.
