Even if it is not to everyone’s taste, I very much appreciate these paintings where the Artist paints by touches revealing the background which contrasts with the opening, thus giving an almost pointillist aspect to the work. In this quasi-Nabie aesthetic, Vuillard was a perfect example and our painting, showing a street in Paris under the snow in 1908, where cars, cabs and trams intersect and where the silhouettes of passers-by seem to blend into the falling snow. do not demerit … Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or phone.
